   I know it is not needed. But I find it exciting that devices in the LAN can be   
   individually IPv6 pinged from the outside.   
      
   Some say this is a security risk. I think the risk is minimal.   
      
   Note that although ping is not needed, blocking all IPv6 ICMP has negative   
   effects.
