   I feel lucky in having a great ISP.  I could use any compatible router I wanted   
   to for my physical connection, which is VDSL.  I pay an extra $10/month for the   
   "Power Pack" option, which includes a static IPv4 and IPv6 prefix (among other   
   additions).  There is a "business" level, which adds priority tech support and   
   the option of a /29 on IPv4, but I have no need to go to this level.
