   I'm wondering if he has a router that he can't disable the firewall on.  That's   
   where I would look first, because routers should block all incoming IPv6   
   traffic by default.  And there should be firewall controls (often erroneously   
   called "IPv6 port forwarding") to open up individual ports, or disable the   
   firewall for a particular IPv6 host.
