   The thing is, there's been web based access to Fidonet since the 90s.  Most   
   Synchronet boards, for instance, have web capabilities.   
      
   And besides, a web access point would still be considered a 'node', subject to   
   policy.  If it's not secured properly and causes annoying behavior on the   
   network, it would be cut off.
