   I'm using a free newsfeed called Eternal September, they carry all non-binary   
   newsgroups, and seem very reliable. Far as I can tell, no limits, I poll for   
   new messages about every 10-30 minutes, 24/7.

   Googling "Free newsgroup feeds" brought me to a bunch of sites that maintain   
   lists of free newsgroup services with their limitations, if any. I'm pulling in   
   all the Atari newsgroups, bbs related groups, rogue-like, arcade collectors   
   groups, and pinball, which is by far the most active newsgroup, gets several   
   hundred posts per day.
