   Same here.  There's a lot of junk on FB.  But in a positive note, I did some   
   successful BBS promotion on Facebook, and got some really interesting replies.   
    Many of my high school friends (heavy BBS users in the early 90's) learned   
   via FB that BBS 8s still kicking!   
      
   Facebook used smartly, can be an excellent promotion tool, especially to bring   
   in people -- now that BBSing is accessible to everybody, more and easier than   
   before.
