   If I'm not mistaken, email CAN be based on uucp via dialup connections, so no,   
   not ALL email is internet based.  On the other hand, I can't imagine that   
   setup being useful other than perhaps to circumvent national firewalls or   
   surveillance software, so it's probably not exactly all that common...
