I'm also       familior with the floodgap system. It would have been interesting to try out       GopherVR, although I think that would have been more of a novelty than       anything.              I liked the look as Netscape 4, so I had installed that on my Linux maching       back about 8 years ago and used it for that purpose. It was Netscape 4.8,       which was the latest and gratest in that major version number and at the time,       it was the only one that could still kinda load google.com without spitting out       endless error messages or crashing. Fun fact: the AIM client that came with it       stillworked at the time.              There is another client that I have on my old iMac G3, running Debian, but i       forget what it's called. It has a nice simple browser look to it.              - Mr. Cool       --- SBBSecho 3.10-Win32        * Origin: Digital Distortion: digdist.synchro.net (1:340/7)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 10/0 1 14/5 15/0 19/36 34/999 90/1 102/401 103/17 705       SEEN-BY: 106/201 116/18 120/302 331 123/140 153/7715 154/10 203/0       SEEN-BY: 214/22 218/0 1 215 401 410 520 700 802 810 221/0 222/2 227/114       SEEN-BY: 229/426 452 1014 230/150 152 240/5832 249/206 317 400 250/1       SEEN-BY: 261/38 100 266/512 267/155 275/100 280/464 5003 282/1031       SEEN-BY: 282/1056 288/100 291/1 111 292/854 298/25 26 300/5 6 310/31       SEEN-BY: 317/3 320/119 219 322/757 340/0 7 200 201 400 800 342/13       SEEN-BY: 342/200 396/45 423/120 640/1321 712/848 770/1 801/161 189       SEEN-BY: 2320/105 2452/250 3634/12 5020/715 1042       PATH: 340/7 400 261/38 218/700 103/705 280/464 229/426           |
