   With Windows8.1 the way it is there's a good change Linux will get more   
   desktops, I'm running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS on mine right now (Lenovo) using it off   
   an external USB drive. Works fine that way, just a little slow at startup. The   
   external drive is default so it runs Ubuntu most of the time. Windows8.1 isn't   
   really all that useful at the moment.
