   YEp, and I wouldn't doubt that some who gate usenet to ftn   
   use albasani as it's stepped into the gaps for a lot of   
   usenet traffic.  In fact, I was just going to suggest them   
   again to you if you had further difficulties, as they don't   
   seem to have a problem with refeeding.  I use them from the   
   ppp side on dial-up for some of the same newsgroups you pull for me, plus a   
   couple others.  That's sure gonna be a bummer if they go toes up.   
      
   When I was first hunting another nntp server when at&T   
   closed theirs down there was a problem with getting access   
   to that one, finally messages sent from both ftn through an   
   email gate and from bellsouth to postmaster@albasani.net got his attention,   
   although for some reason mail from at&T   
   wasn't reaching the regular in box that would be addressed   
   fo one applied on the web.  HE was quick to respond, and   
   within hours I had password and was cooking.   
      
   in that one short period of time two or three major   
   providers were closing down nntp and he was sure a busy guy   
   .
