   my comment was directed at the removal of the Type 2 (aka Stone Age) PKT   
   setting... not the adjustment of the password to 8 characters... hopefully   
   hotdoged will have a fix out for the password problem real soon... the   
   password field is always eight characters long... never longer or shorter...   
   it is padded with nuls if the password is less than eight characters...
