At first I thought it was a humming bird as it was about the       size of one. It was not, though. It had a short beak, mostly light gray       body, but with a yellow breast.              It was too small, and not yellow enough all over, to be a goldfinch, which       are plentiful in Kentucky. We also apparently have yellow-breasted chats.       While the coloration of those birds is similar, chats are much larger than       a hummingbird.              Did some googling and came up with several other birds that have yellow       breasts or throats, but none of them appear to be what I saw today.              Mike                      * SLMR 2.1a * Her voice rings in his ears like the music of the spheres       --- SBBSecho 3.14-Linux        * Origin: capitolcityonline.net * Telnet/SSH:2022/HTTP (1:2320/105)       SEEN-BY: 1/120 123 15/0 18/0 90/1 105/81 106/201 116/17 18 120/340       SEEN-BY: 123/0 126 131 160 180 200 129/305 330 331 138/146 153/7715       SEEN-BY: 154/10 218/700 222/2 226/30 227/114 229/110 111 206 317 424       SEEN-BY: 229/426 428 470 664 700 240/1120 250/1 261/38 275/100 1000       SEEN-BY: 282/1038 292/854 300/4 317/3 320/219 322/757 342/11 396/45       SEEN-BY: 460/58 712/848 1321 2320/0 33 105 107 304 3634/0 12 5020/1042       PATH: 2320/105 3634/12 153/7715 229/426           |
