       1/4 c  Mayonnaise   
       1/4 c  Maple syrup   
         3 tb White wine vinegar   
         2 tb Minced shallot   
         2 ts Sugar   
       1/2 c  Oil   
        10 oz (2 bags) spring mix salad   
              - greens   
         2 md Tart apples; thin sliced   
         1 c  Dried cherries   
         1 c  Pecan halves   
       1/4 c  Thin sliced red onion   
       
     In a small bowl, mix first 5 ingredients; gradually   
     whisk in oil until blended. Refrigerate, covered, until   
     serving.   
        
     To serve, place remaining ingredients in a large bowl;   
     toss with dressing.
