      CHRS: CP437 2       MSGID: 1:18/200@fidonet 668d6a28       PID: MBSE-BBS 1.1.0 (Linux-x86_64)       TZUTC: -0500       TID: MBSE-FIDO 1.1.0 (Linux-x86_64)       MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06                Title: Cabbage Roll Casserole        Categories: Beef, Vegetables, Pork, Herbs, Cheese        Yield: 12 Servings                2 lb Ground beef        1 lg Onion; chopped        3 cl Garlic; minced        30 oz (2 cans) tomato sauce;        - divided        1 ts Dried thyme        1/2 ts Dill weed        1/2 ts Rubbed sage        1/4 ts Salt        1/4 ts Pepper        1/4 ts Cayenne pepper        2 c Cooked rice        4 sl Bacon; cooked, crumbled        2 lb Head cabbage; shredded        1 c Shredded mozzarella cheese        Coarse ground pepper; opt                Set oven @ 375ºF/190ºC.                In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat        until meat is no longer pink, breaking beef into        crumbles. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Drain. Stir        in 1 can tomato sauce and next 6 ingredients. Bring to a        boil. Reduce heat; simmer, covered, 5 minutes. Stir in        rice and bacon; remove from heat.                Layer a third of the cabbage in a greased 13x9-in.        baking dish. Top with half the meat mixture. Repeat        layers; top with remaining cabbage. Pour remaining        tomato sauce over top.                Cover and bake 45 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with        cheese. Bake until cheese is melted, about 10 minutes.        Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
