      CHRS: CP437 2       MSGID: 1:18/200@fidonet 668d0805       PID: MBSE-BBS 1.1.0 (Linux-x86_64)       TZUTC: -0500       TID: MBSE-FIDO 1.1.0 (Linux-x86_64)       MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06                Title: Skinny Turkey-Vegetable Soup        Categories: Poultry, Vegetables, Herbs, Pasta        Yield: 6 Servings                2 md Onions; chopped        2 md Carrots; halved, thin        - sliced        2 Celery ribs; chopped        1/2 c Chopped red bell pepper        1 tb Olive oil        3 cl Garlic; minced        4 c Water        10 oz Can Ro*Tel tomatoes w/green        - chilies; undrained        1/2 c Frozen peas        1 Bay leaf        4 ts Chicken soup base        1/2 ts Dried basil        1/2 ts Dried thyme        1/4 ts Ground cumin        1/4 ts Pepper        1/2 ts Hot pepper sauce        1/2 c Uncooked whole wheat orzo        - pasta        2 c Cubed cooked turkey        1 tb Minced fresh cilantro                In a large saucepan, saute the onions, carrots, celery        and red pepper in oil until tender. Add garlic; cook 2        minutes longer. Stir in the water, tomatoes, peas, bay        leaf, bouillon, basil, thyme, cumin, pepper and, if        desired, pepper sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat;        simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes.                Meanwhile, cook orzo according to package directions;        drain. Stir orzo and turkey into soup; heat through.        Discard bay leaf.
