      TZUTC: -0500       MSGID: 70874.homecook@1:2320/105 2b903fac       PID: Synchronet 3.20a-Linux master/acc19483f Apr 26 202 GCC 12.2.0       TID: SBBSecho 3.20-Linux master/acc19483f Apr 26 2024 23:04 GCC 12.2.0       BBSID: CAPCITY2       CHRS: ASCII 1       MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06                Title: Milk Stout Bread        Categories: Breads, Beer, Fruits, Nuts        Yield: 1 Loaf                3 c A-P flour (13 1/2 oz)        3 3/4 ts Baking powder        1/2 ts Salt        1/2 c White sugar        1/3 c Molasses        12 oz Guinness Over The Moon Milk        - Stout        1/4 c Butter; melted        Cooking spray              MMMMM-------------------------ADDITIONS------------------------------        1/2 c Craisins        1/2 c Raisins        1/2 c Walnuts; coarse chopped        1/2 c Dates; chopped                Set oven @ 350oF/175oC.                Spray a 9" x 5" loaf pan with non-stick spray.                In a large bowl sift together the flour, baking powder,        salt and sugar.                Slowly pour half of the beer into the flour mixture and        stir.                Add the molasses and stir in the balance of the beer.                Stir in your choice(s) of craisins, raisins, dates,        and/or nuts.                NOTE: Stir just enough to blend in the flour but DO NOT        over mix or you'll end up with a beer brick!                Pour into the prepared loaf pan (no more than 2/3 full).                Bake for 45 - 55 minutes or until toothpick comes out        clean.                Cool in pan for 5 minutes, and then turn it out onto        a rack.                Drizzle or brush the butter on the top of the bread.                Makes one loaf.                RECIPE FROM: https://www.food.com                Uncle Dirty Dave's Archives               MMMMM              ...
