      TZUTC: -0400       MSGID: 36580.fido-homecook@1:3634/12 2b38b5d3       PID: Synchronet 3.18a-Linux May 23 2020 GCC 7.5.0       TID: SBBSecho 3.11-Linux r3.173 May 23 2020 GCC 7.5.0       CHRS: UTF-8 4       MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06                Title: Chicken Amandine        Categories: Poutry, Vegetables, Nuts, Pork, Rice        Yield: 8 servings                1/4 c Chopped onion        1 tb Butter        6 oz Box long grain & wild rice        2 1/4 c Chicken broth        3 c Diced, cooked chicken        2 c French-style green beans;        - thawed        10 3/4 oz Can cream of chicken soup;        - undiluted        3/4 c Sliced almonds; divided        4 oz Jar diced pimientos;        - drained        1 ts Pepper        1/2 ts Garlic powder        1 sl Bacon; cooked, crumbled                In a large saucepan, saute onion in butter until tender.        Add rice with contents of seasoning packet and broth.        Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until        liquid is absorbed, about 25 minutes. Uncover; set aside        to cool.                In a large bowl, combine chicken, green beans, soup, 1/2        cup almonds, pimientos, pepper and garlic powder. Stir        in rice.                Transfer to a greased 2 1/2 qt. baking dish. Sprinkle        with bacon and remaining 1/4 cup almonds.
