    14 1/2 oz Can diced tomatoes;   
              - undrained   
        14 oz Chicken broth   
         6 oz Can tomato paste   
         3    Celery ribs; chopped   
         2 md Bell peppers; chopped   
         1 md Onion; chopped   
         5 cl Garlic; minced   
         3 ts Dried parsley flakes   
         2 ts Dried basil   
     1 1/2 ts Dried oregano   
     1 1/4 ts Salt   
       1/2 ts Cayenne pepper   
       1/2 ts Trappey's hot pepper sauce   
         1 lb Boned, skinned chicken; in   
              - 1" cubes   
         1 lb Smoked sausage; in 1/4" half   
              - moons   
       1/2 lb (U-40) uncooked shrimp;   
              - peeled, deveined   
              Hot cooked rice; to serve   
       
     In a 5 qt. slow cooker, combine the tomatoes, broth and   
     tomato paste. Stir in the celery, green peppers, onion,   
     garlic, seasonings and pepper sauce. Stir in chicken and   
     sausage.   
        
     Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until chicken is   
     no longer pink. Stir in shrimp. Cover and cook 15-30   
     minutes longer or until shrimp turn pink. Serve with   
     rice.   
        
     Freeze option: Place individual portions of cooled stew   
     in freezer containers and freeze. To use, partially thaw   
     in refrigerator overnight. Heat through in a saucepan,   
     stirring occasionally and adding a little water if   
     necessary.   
        
     Makes 10 - 12 portions
