      PID: BWPRO 3.11 [Eval]       MSGID: 1:18/200.0 6692545f       MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06                Title: Grandma's Star Cookies        Categories: Cookies, Snacks, Citrus        Yield: 84 servings                1 1/2 c Butter; softened        1/2 c Shortening        1 c Sugar        1 c (packed) brown sugar        2 lg Eggs; room temperature        1/4 c Thawed orange juice        - concentrate        1 ts Vanilla extract        5 c A-P flour        1 ts Baking soda        1 ts Salt              MMMMM--------------------------FROSTING-------------------------------        3 c Confectioners' sugar        1/4 c Butter; melted        1 1/2 ts Thawed orange juice        - concentrate        1 ts Vanilla extract        3 To 4 tablespoons whole milk        Food coloring and sprinkles        - or colored sugar; opt                In a large bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugars        until light and fluffy, 5-7 minutes. Add eggs, 1 at a        time, beating well after each addition. Beat in orange        juice concentrate and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking        soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix        well. Cover and refrigerate until dough is easy to        handle, about 2 hours.                On a lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/4-in.        thickness. Cut with a 3" star-shaped cookie cutter        dipped in flour. Place 1" apart on ungreased baking        sheets. Bake @ 350ºF/175ºC until edges are firm, 7-8        minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool.                For frosting, combine the confectioners' sugar, butter,        orange juice concentrate, vanilla and enough milk to        reach spreading consistency. Tint with food coloring if        desired.
