      Yeah, I can live with that. On the weather front, it'll be dry through   
    next Monday, with only isolated thunderstorms expected Tuesday through   
    at least Wednesday of next week...but chances may increase toward the   
    latter part of next week. At least I wasn't in Guam...they had a category   
    4 typhoon with 140 mph winds clip the northern part of the island...there   
    likely is widespread damage.   
       
      We have elevated fire danger, because of low relative humidity values,   
    even though we've had a lot of rain recently. The weather for the holiday   
    weekend will be delightful, although heat indexes will ease up into the    
    90s, a reminder that summer is close.   
       
      My other concern now is the default on the US debt ceiling next week.   
    That would be a disaster for everyone on Social Security, Medicare, and   
    Medicaid, including myself. Congress ought to forfeit their pay until   
    they get something done...but neither side is giving in. The economy   
    would also tank with financial markets, etc. -- and there likely would   
    be a civil war/revolt by so many.   
       
      The loss of benefits mean no money for food, medical care, utilities,   
    or other things...and I likely would have to shut things down in more   
    ways than one. If it's going to do that, I'd pray the Rapture Of The   
    Church occurs, before the bottom falls out on the world, and this once   
    great nation.   
       
      I know the price of everything has gone up, but Congress can't keep   
    spending like a drunken sailor, with a blank check and open credit card.   
    Yet, they'll spend billions on getting re-elected. They should also make   
    every bit of that campaign money go to paying the elderly, disabled, and   
    veterans. But, they're too cowardly to do that...and there are too many   
    who want to turn this country into another Cuba, Venezuela, China, Russia,   
    North Korea, and other totalitarian states.
