|    Digital Radio - Which One and Why?    |
|    07 Feb 17 19:36:00    |
I saw that someone said we needed some more traffic in this echo, so I       thought I would help with this question...              Have you started or made a total switch to digital yet? And if so, which one       and what was the main reason for that particular one?              I have started my switch. I have a new Yeasu FT2DR which uses C4FM digital. I       also have an Icom ID-31 that is a UHF D-Star hand held. I plan to get a DMR       radio to kind of round it out, and from there make a determination which one       is the best for me.               Locally we have a lot of Hams with DMR radio. It seems that is the main one       most people here are using. What about you guys?              --- Mystic BBS v1.12 A31 (Linux)        * Origin: Radio Freqs & Geeks BBS - Albany, NY (FN32DO) (1:267/518)    |
