MSGID: 1:135/250@fidonet 6861e20b       PID: C-NET AMIGA BBS 5.36b       Whelp!!              Field Day 2025 is IN THE BAG as they say.              While the conditions were frustrating to say the least, with some strong QSB       ad 20 meters largely being on the only band open for me. My 40 Meter vertical       does not work well for stateside QSOs on good days. I had intended to install       and test a dipole solution this Field Day, but it did not come to fruition.              By 2100 hours on Saturday I had 150 phone QSO's in the log, and it was time       for the East Coast Reflectors Trivia Net! We got our question correct       (breaking a 2 week losing streak!). After Trivia net, it was time to play on       FT-4 and FT-8, and we made an additional 82 contacts!              At 0300 it was time for bed!              I was not able to get out of bed until about 1040, and after only a handful of       FT-4 contacts I set about putting messages into the NTS system via Winlink!              I was able to enter a message for the NFL section manager, and 10 additional       messages to regular recipients!               Being happy with everything, and a thunderstorm rolling in, I decided that I       had done enough, and to let things fall as they may!              We had fun! We used some new modes, copied the ARRL bulliten on RTTY, had an       introduction to the Amateur Radio National Traffic System (I wonder if my       radiograms will actually be delivered.).              Preliminary score is 710 points. Though I think a portion of those will be       knocked off! I did not realize the logging software only pays attention to       VFO A data, degardless if VFO B is active. So a lot of my early contacts on       15M were incorrect as they did not pick up on the band change!               How did everyone else fair?              I am hoping for #1 in 1D/NFL!       --- CNet/5        * Origin: The Rat's Den BBS (1:135/250)       SEEN-BY: 1/120 18/0 200 103/705 104/119 105/81 106/201 114/10 116/116       SEEN-BY: 120/616 123/0 25 126 180 525 755 3001 3002 128/187 129/14       SEEN-BY: 129/305 135/0 115 205 220 240 250 363 384 385 388 390 391       SEEN-BY: 153/757 7715 154/10 30 50 110 700 218/700 220/20 30 90 221/1       SEEN-BY: 221/6 222/2 226/18 30 44 50 227/114 229/110 111 114 200 206       SEEN-BY: 229/300 307 310 312 317 400 426 428 470 664 700 705 240/1120       SEEN-BY: 250/1 266/512 275/1000 291/111 292/854 301/1 113 812 320/219       SEEN-BY: 322/757 342/200 396/45 460/58 256 1124 5858 633/280 712/848       SEEN-BY: 712/1321 902/26 2320/105 3634/0 12 27 56 57 58 60 119 5020/400       SEEN-BY: 5020/1042 8912 5030/723 5054/30 5075/35       PATH: 135/250 115 3634/12 154/10 301/1 460/58 229/426           |
