JA>I collect comics so I have a small budget for that every month, plus I
JA>play the Star Wars X-Wing miniatures game. I don't spend a ton with it,
JA>but I do spend some, plus some gas to drive for tourneys and such...

DS> I never was a fan of comics or a bookworm, but my late XYL was a
    DS> bookworm.

I used to read a lot more than I do now. I still enjoy it, but I don't
get to as many books as I used to...

DS> Yep...Firefox for Android. I also use the Dashlane Password Manager.
DS> That way, it creates funky passwords for me, and remembers them for me.

Yeah - Safari does that for me as well.

DS> callsign...and what another ham thought E.D. actually meant!! .

   LOL

JA>I've been on stage off and on since I was 14 years old - got over 'mic
    JA>fright' a loooong time ago - LOL.

DS> I remember being in theatre arts in high school and college. And, no
DS> matter how many plays I was in, right before coming out on stage, I
DS> wondered "You dumb $***!! Why are you doing this again??!!" .

LOL - I was in a play in November - that was a first for me! I meant
as a musician for years, and as a singer/songwriter for the past several
   years now.

DS> My BBS is the only one I logon to. As with other hobbies, it's a
DS> HOBBY...though some consider it an OBSESSION. I've never really set up
DS> a sked, but have offered it to some hams to contact me, and I'd do one.
DS> But, everyone is so busy nowadays. Then, you have summer vacation, etc.
DS> coming up soon...never mind folks going to Hamvention.

The one in Bartlett was a couple of weeks ago, but we didn't go. I have
fond memories of going there with my wife over a couple of years, but
really no reason to go this time. :-)

We also went to Huntsville a few years ago, but only once. It was fun,
but not planning to go back for that. It's just not a major thing for
   us, for several reasons.

We are planning to go to Superman Days again in Metropolis in June.
   Looking forward to that!

DS> If I could get a financial benefit, I'd love to do one FINAL out of
DS> state trip via Amtrak to the Duke City Hamfest in Albuquerque in
    DS> September...but, I'm not overly optimistic.

We've never ridden on the train - we've talked about it before,
but never did it. Our son lives in Indy now, and the train goes to
   St. Louis.

JA>More interesting stuff! Thanks! I always get a ton of info from you. :-)

    DS> That'll be a dollar two ninety-eight processing fee. Oops...I
DS> forgot!! No pecuniary interest on ham radio!! (hi hi).

   :-)

... I found a piano stool. I thought they were housebroken.
