Sync is a modern BBS so it most likely uses Squish or JAM.               EO> Okay. But GoldEd still has to get the messages from somewhere,        EO> doesn't it?              Yes.               EO> When I run GoldEd, it thinks all the echos are empty. Where do I tell        EO> it where to get the messages?              I refer GoldEd to use an AREAS.BBS file to list the echoes, which is       provided by the mail tosser. The file also includes the path to each       echomail folder. However, I doubt that Sync, being a modern BBS, does       that, rather it uses one master file to keep track of all echomail.               EO> I know where Synchronet keeps its message area data, but I don't know        EO> if it's something that GoldEd can read.              If they're in a data file, GoldEd can't read them.              You might get ahold of Joe Delahay in Region 12. He uses Sync and I think       he uses an exteranl mail reader. I don't think its GoldEd though.               R\%/itt               Fox News was not used as a source for information in this message!              --- Twit(t) Filter v2.1 (C) 2000-10        * Origin: SATX Alamo Area Net * South * Texas, USA * (1:387/22)    |
