   I refer GoldEd to use an AREAS.BBS file to list the echoes, which is   
   provided by the mail tosser. The file also includes the path to each   
   echomail folder. However, I doubt that Sync, being a modern BBS, does   
   that, rather it uses one master file to keep track of all echomail.

   If they're in a data file, GoldEd can't read them.   
      
   You might get ahold of Joe Delahay in Region 12. He uses Sync and I think   
   he uses an exteranl mail reader. I don't think its GoldEd though.
