   interesting in that golded has frame drawing characters in the message header   
   area... mine are currently the single line horizontal ones... there's also   
   another one at the bottom of the editor... these have always shown up properly   
   but not those same ones in message bodies... that seems to say that the header   
   stuff takes a different path then the message bodies...
