The patch below allows GoldED+ to be built with the Clang compiler. Clang is   
   an alternative C/C++ compiler to GCC, and the default compiler from FreeBSD 10   
   onwards.   
      
   In Linux, install libncurses5-dev (or similar) and clang, then build with:   
      
   make PLATFORM=lnx CC=clang CXX=clang++
