      The old debian packaging (i.e.; the one that was in the Debian repository    
   some years ago) used 'sed' to update/create the mygolded.h file with more    
   generic information before doing the package build, like GVER_VENDOR_NAME    
   being "Debian Project".  Don't know what kind of tools are available to ebuild    
   to describe how to do such changes?  I think I'd just do a patch of the the    
   source file with the updated information & then copy it to the mygolded.h file    
   name; need to look at that again.  (Now that I'm getting more settled after a    
   move, I need to look at updating the packaging so I can use the newer    
   snapshots on my various systems...)
