Benny,              12 Sep 13 21:42, you wrote to all:               BP> Hello All!               BP> since golded cvs have a design of people compile it self with        BP> personlized info screen i like to know how to configure mygolded.__h        BP> for portage ?               BP> should users just ignore or ?               BP> can i get that changed to be in golded.cfg ?               BP> it should really not be so in gentoo with another users point number        BP> and info, it should be configure before use with is not supported in        BP> gentoo, emerge --config golded+ is done after it is compiled with imho        BP> is to late :)               BP> what does other maintainers do if installed from packagemanagers ?               The old debian packaging (i.e.; the one that was in the Debian repository        some years ago) used 'sed' to update/create the mygolded.h file with more        generic information before doing the package build, like GVER_VENDOR_NAME        being "Debian Project". Don't know what kind of tools are available to ebuild        to describe how to do such changes? I think I'd just do a patch of the the        source file with the updated information & then copy it to the mygolded.h file        name; need to look at that again. (Now that I'm getting more settled after a        move, I need to look at updating the packaging so I can use the newer        snapshots on my various systems...)                     Jame              --- GoldED+/LNX 1.1.5-b20110213        * Origin: ftn.rocasa.net (1:120/544)    |
