   I'm do have the time to read the screen on a Windows machine on our LAN.  I   
   have GoldEd's config set to read FastEcho's config directly.  As both are on a   
   network drive it takes a little longer to do the areas scan at startup, as it   
   scans -all- available echoes.  Plenty of time to slam a [Alt]+[PrntScrn] for a   
   happy snap or go cross-eyed watchin' the scan process.  :)   
      
   OTOH, in front of the actual vBox running the Fidonet stuff, the startup scan   
   is instantaneous.  Binga-da-banga-da-boom! GoldEd is 'up'.  =:)
