If I read my       KK> echo areas first (which are is squish format) then I can read my       KK> netmail area fine.              Why two different message formats? That certainly complicates things.              For what it's worth, I have everything on a squishbase, tossed with Fastecho,       and read and write over the LAN with an older version of GoldED (see below).       My fido machine runs on OS/2 (eComStation 1.2), the Windows version of GoldED       is physically located on the OS/2 machine and I start it over the LAN from my       "working machine" running on Win XP. I can also use the OS/2 version of GoldED       directly on my fido machine, but don't usually bother.              But mixing messagebases is not particularly easy in golded.cfg, and I could       imagine this is the problem you're having.              Why not just convert everything to squishbase? That would at least eliminate       one possible source of your problem.              KK> BTW, The netmail area works fine on a local drive. (on the       KK> workstation)              Same OS in both cases? Or different, as in my system?              Cheers, Bob              --- GoldED+/W32 1.1.5-0613        * Origin: Jabberwocky System - 02363-56073 ISDN/V34 (2:2448/44)    |
