   In general I do not have the urge to always have the latest and the greatest.   
   However the version of Golded has some mildy annoying shortcomings such as   
   displaying "CHARS UTF-8 2" instead of "CHRS UTF-8 4"   
      
   I understand this is fixed in newer versions and if I upgrade, I might just as   
   well pick up the latest...
