I've found that DOS commands can be executed from the SYSTEM32       folder under Windows. The other day I formatted a USB memory stick under       Vista by using a windows command prompt and running the 'diskpart'       partitioning executable. What I was noting above was that W2K still does       have a DOS folder, while later versions of Windows may not.               JD> I do have one because I kept it from the DOS days, but only some of        JD> it, which I still use. Tbis is on the BBS machine. Typing a VER        JD> command in a dos command window, just gives me the windows version.              Change to the /windows/system32 folder and try that command. XP should       have it's own DOS...               R\%/itt               Fox News was not used as a source for information in this message!              --- Twit(t) Filter v2.1 (C) 2000-10        * Origin: SATX Alamo Area Net * South * Texas, USA * (1:387/22)    |
