   I think it does both. It certainly does direct screen writes (the B800 address   
   is in the code). But there are also lots of geninterupt() calls. Neither of   
   which I have experience with (at least I can't remember anything about it.   
   )). So I haven't got a clue about what it's doing, besides the sparse   
   comments in the code.

   Maybe, if I knew how (do you mean using the conio.h family of functions?) and   
   it wouldn't be too much work I might be tempted. But I rather spend my time on   
   a more portable solution. My ultimate goal is still: building a linux version   
   of fmail! ;)
