I tried to compile fsetupx as a win32 version, but that wouldn't work. If I
want to go that road the complete screen interface has to be rewritten to
something that would work in a win32 environment. So I was playing with the
idea to do a complete rewrite and maybe use qt as interface library so it
could be portable between windows and linux. But I think a graphical interface
isn't the way to go because that wouldn't allow remote access through a
text-only terminal. I'm now thinking about a simple text to binary
export/import program for the configuration files. That would be very simple
to make, no text or graphics interface, it would be simple to make it portable
between windows and linux, and you can use your own prefered text editor to
   make configuration changes...

I'm doing the same thing myself... It's awkward, but since you don't often
have to make changes to your config (I think that's true for most people), I
think it's an acceptable solution for now...
