Hi Ben,              On 15 Feb 17 01:24, Michiel van der Vlist wrote to Ben Ritchey:        about: "Admin echoes":               BR>> Before I go import a large Areas file, is there a recommended way to        BR>> restrict Admin echoes to some sort of manual entry just for those        BR>> authorized for same?               MvdV> Yes, there is.              I'll elaborate a bit on this. ;)              There isn't a documented recommended way for this afaik. But I would do it as       follows:              Split up de areas.bbs file in sections with for instance the admin areas and       the "regular" areas separated. And set the 'AreaMgr defaults' to your liking       before you import each section.              There was however an improvement regarding this in a recent beta version:              2017-01-04 1.73.11.61-Beta        * FConfig: When importing AREAS.BBS, the Group and AreaFix settings from the        'AreaMgr defaults' is used for newly created areas.              So if you need this, you should wait for the next release, which will be in       the next couple of days or weeks. Or if you are really in a hurry I can give       you a link to a beta version...              Wilfred.              --- FMail-W32 1.73.17.77-B20170207        * Origin: point@work (2:280/464.112)    |
