   yup, dd is a very cool tool... i used to use it when ripping CDs for my   
   virtual jukebox... not music CDs, though... program CDs... it was so much   
   faster and easier to have them automount and autodismount when they were   
   needed... if only i could remember how or at least find the linux magazine   
   that had the recipe...
