   i think what he means is that you can't set a default base path for JAM   
   areas... everything goes into the defined message base path during auto-create   
   when messages for new echos arrive... then you have to move the message base   
   from there when you adjust the config for the retoss to work and put the new   
   posts into the now defined area...
