Hi Paul,              On 12 Aug 16 10:26, Paul Quinn wrote to Wilfred van Velzen:        about: "Release imminent":               WV>> I still need the new FConfigW32.exe program to be tested on Windows 8        WV>> & 10 on 32 & 64 bit versions. Even a "I        WV>> started the program, and it didn't crash" is helpfull! ;)               PQ> I felt sorry for you,              Hmm... ;)               PQ> and downloaded a copy to try on this Windows 8.1 PC.              I don't know if this is a surprise or not, but I'm seeing a lot more       downloads, than I get responses... :(               PQ> It ran for about 25 seconds until Avast gave it a _second_ glance, and        PQ> decided that it was such a unique file type that it was gonna ram it        PQ> back to the company for dissection. I saw that there was a menu while        PQ> it was running. That's all so far.              That's all I needed to know! ;) Maybe you could have played arround a bit in       the menu's... But I can't control what virusscanners are doing with it...               PQ> Mind you, I could excited about a Linux port but I think I've been        PQ> rebuked on that point before. ;)              It's a work in progress. In between releases I'm trying to get the source to       compile on a gcc compiler for windows. After that a port to linux should be a       lot closer. Getting the config program to work on Win32 is also a big step in       that direction, because now all the ugly "geninterrupt" dos stuff is no longer       used...              Thanks for the report!              Wilfred.              --- FMail-W32 1.69.24.186-B20160811        * Origin: point@work (2:280/464.112)    |
