Hi,              On 12 Oct 10 16:19, Michiel van der Vlist wrote to Mike Soper:        about: "Fmail Registration":               MvdV> Forget about the creator, he is no longer interested in FidoNet. I am        MvdV> sure he will respond, but his presence is on and off. So have some        MvdV> patience, we will get this fixed, I am sure.              I didn't get the sources nor the binary for the keygenerator. It might be       possible to reverse engineer one from the keychecking code. But it would be       much easier to remove the registration checks from the source. Which I didn't       do at all (yet) in the .GPL versions. ;)              Apparently everybody that still uses Fmail already has a key, or doesn't need       the limited extra functionality the registered version provides.              The current code on my system, however, isn't in a releasable state. I am in       the middle of converting all filesystem access and filenames to lowercase so       Fmail will be much better usable in a system where it's files reside on a       linux system. But that was started more then a year ago, and I haven't been       able to spend much time on it so far...              Bye, Wilfred.                     --- FMail/Win32 1.62.GPL        * Origin: Amiga Offline BBS Lisse (2:280/464)    |
