   Yes, I had a registered version and there was a key in the fmail directory.   
   The latest version compiled by the original author is 1.60 and that required a   
   key. The GPL version labelled 1.61.GPL does not need a key. For testing I   
   removed the key and indeed it is still working. You should see the changed   
   tearline in this message.

   Are you sure you are using the correct version? The .exe's I uses have version   
   number 1.61.GPL and are date stamped 12-06-08. I use the win32 versions btw.
