Hello everybody.               Recently (this week), I switched from Fastecho 1.46 to FMail 1.59b/Beta               I am using JAMAPI Tools that allow me to inspect all files and how they are       interact with the four files. Anyway, just to help others who may be looking       to implement FMail, I can add fresh perspective.               FMail works great with the JAM and Fidonet. It works with BSO folders.               Only quirk(s) I have found:        FMailW32 SCAN /J /S               Works for getting messages out - that JAMNNTPD v1.2.3 is not always flaging       posts as new, and updating the MODCOUNTER field in the header. (Which I assume       FMail is using to know if there is anything to look for).               The other quirk is my "INBOUND" and "OUTBOUND" are network folders. FMail       reports the drive/path do not exist, create Y/n? So I make fake IN/OUT folders       locally and I move my files IN/OUT before TOSS and SCAN.               Other than that - I am using GoldED to also help me test. It has "I"nspect       mode when you are scrolling through a message base (JAM, Fido/Opus, etc).       Dumps the variables, headers, and hexdump of the actual content. Great       (amazing) feature to put into an EDITOR!              Ozz              --- FMail/Win32 1.59b/beta        * Origin: Richmond VA (RVA) Fidonet Support (1:275/362)    |
