   Yes, I would at least make a backup of your sbbsecho.ctl file as the upgrade   
   will change it's name.to sbbsecho.ctl.old.  It will still be in the   
   ..\sbbs\ctrl folder.

   No, the conversion will create a sbbsecho.ini file.  DM is no longer using   
   the .cfg format anymore.   
      
   When I updated, everything converted properly to the new style so I doubt   
   you'll have any issues.   
      
   Also, as I previously stated, echocfg has also changed so you may want to   
   look at that structure as well.
