i'm trying to figure out what this screen is telling me when FMail scans out

   the command used to start FMail was   
      
     fmailw32 scan /e /j   
      
      
   1. why did it scan the netmail directory?   
      
   2. why is it rescanning selected JAM areas?   
      
   3. how are those selected areas chosen?   
      
   4. is the above command line incorrect to scan JAM Echomail areas only??
