Not even close. As a person who lives in the        "hurricane belt", I can assure you of this.               DC> Perhaps you should get a generator?               DS> I can't afford it. The price may be noted around $2000, but        DS> that does NOT include installation, etc.              You're thinking of a "whole-house generator", and they cost a LOT more        than that. I was meaning a temporary use type of generator, that will        run the fridge, some lights, a fan, even a microwave (all at once). You        can get a decent one of those for $600-700-ish. You don't even have to        run it continuously, I've run one for an hour or so to keep things cold,        and then shut if off for (easily) 6 hours before running again.               DC> What? Do you eat only canned or packaged/processed food?               DS> The processed food is loaded with sodium, but I haven't found        DS> many low sodium foods that are inexpensive...the price of        DS> everything has gone up. Yet, the greedy politicians in Washington        DS> have no clue how life is "outside the beltway"...I hold ALL of        DS> them in utter contempt.              Processed food is probably more expensive on average than "real" food.        Get some potatoes, fresh veggies, fruits, maybe some hamburger. All        cheap and healthy, and with near-ZERO sodium content. Seriously, it        would cost half as much and do wonders for your health.               DS> If I was getting per week what I'm getting per month, things        DS> would be a bit better. But, with my health, I still wouldn't        DS> travel outside of central Arkansas anymore.              Don't think anybody was talking about traveling, that's irrelevant.               DC> Try some *FRESH* food. Most of it is near ZERO sodium content.               DS> I can NOT stand for more than 15 seconds in one spot...whether        DS> at the stove, sink, table, microwave oven, toilet, or in the        DS> shower... or my legs will spasm...the same thing on a scale at a        DS> medical clinic.              Again this seems like an irrelevant comment... If you're talking about        standing for food prep/cooking, get a "barstool" or similar so you can        sit while you do it. Seriously man, it's not difficult. You tell us        about all of your health conditions, and yet..... you eat only processed        foods and only use a microwave to cook. Has it ever occurred to you        that there may be a connection between your eating habits and your        health....????              You can fix some of that, and save money at the same time. Git-R-Done.                            ... She kept saying I didn't listen to her, or something like that.       === MultiMail/Linux v0.52       --- SBBSecho 3.15-Linux        * Origin: Palantir * palantirbbs.ddns.net * Pensacola, FL * (1:123/115)       SEEN-BY: 1/120 123 14/5 15/0 18/0 200 90/1 105/81 106/201 116/116       SEEN-BY: 120/340 123/0 25 115 126 131 160 180 200 755 129/330 331       SEEN-BY: 134/101 135/300 138/146 153/7715 154/10 218/700 222/2 226/30       SEEN-BY: 227/114 229/110 111 200 206 307 317 400 424 426 428 470 664       SEEN-BY: 229/700 240/1120 250/1 261/38 266/512 275/100 1000 282/1038       SEEN-BY: 292/854 299/6 300/4 317/3 320/219 322/757 342/11 200 396/45       SEEN-BY: 460/58 633/280 712/848 1321 2320/105 3634/0 12 15 27 50 119       SEEN-BY: 5020/1042       PATH: 123/115 3634/12 153/7715 229/426           |
