   When I was in the Army, I had an old 2.5 ton truck from 1969 ("deuce and a   
   half") that would run on about anything we would put in it.  MOGAS ("minimum   
   octane gas"), kerosene, lamp oil, even Everclear!  It was assigned to me   
   because I was one of a handful of people who could drive a manual   
   transmission in my battery.
