There is a world championship pun-off in early May       each year in Austin, Texas...where the humor is drier than the Sahara.               There are 2 competitions:              1) Punniest Of Show -- the contestant prepares a script, ideally 60       seconds in length. At 90 seconds, a bell sounds, and points are       deducted. A second bell rings at 2 minutes, and the contestant is       disqualified. The script can be full of puns, or have one big one at the       end.              2) High Lies And Low Puns -- from several categories, two punsters go       head to head, having 5 seconds to make a pun on the category, and you       can't use the same pun more than once.               Proceeds benefit the O. Henry Museum in Austin, Texas.              Daryl                      * OLX 1.53 * Why does the Psychic Hotline have to ask for your name??       --- SBBSecho 3.10-Win32        * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS - tbolt.synchro.net (1:19/33)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 19/25 33 50 90/1 103/705 106/101 324 124/5014 5016       SEEN-BY: 124/5018 154/10 203/0 221/0 227/114 229/200 426 1014 240/5832       SEEN-BY: 249/206 307 317 400 261/38 280/464 5003 5555 288/100 292/854       SEEN-BY: 310/31 317/3 322/757 342/200 387/21 25 27 396/45 423/120       SEEN-BY: 633/280 712/848 770/1 2452/250 31999/99       PATH: 19/33 396/45 280/464 229/426           |
