   My family was 5 girls and 1 boy, and yes, we all did the same until we   
   graduated from high school.  It did teach us to appreciate the value of the   
   money we earned, and helped us to spend it wisely as well.  It also felt good   
   to know that we were helping out in this way since Mom and Dad worked such   
   long hours.
