I stopped smoking more than 30 years ago,        DS> which is about 11,000 days. I would not expect to live another 11,000        DS> years. Even if it were every year instead of every day, I do not        DS> think that I will make it to 109+. That said, it certainly does add to        DS> expected life -- and more important to the health during that life.              I misquoted that. After looking that up, it's the initial 24 hours; after       that, the effect wears off. My faulty memory besides, stopping smoking does       add life to your years no matter what happens.              I have never smoked as I had enough damage to my immune system from the day I       was born. I am highly allergic to second-hand smoke. If I am around it       enough, I'll wind up with bronchitis. My first wife quit smoking while we       were married and then picked it back up after we divorced. She then had her       first daughter with her second husband and managed to quit--and stay quit--at       that time.              Later,       Sean                     --- Maximus/2 3.01        * Origin: Outpost BBS * bbs.outpostbbs.net:2304 (1:18/200)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 15/2 18/200 227/114 229/200 354 426 1014 240/5832 249/206       SEEN-BY: 249/307 317 400 280/464 292/854 317/3 322/757 342/200 633/280       PATH: 18/200 229/426           |
