First running       Xenix and sucessfully writing programs with it in the business world. We then       used Mark Williams Coherent, then later one of the earliest version of Linux.       My husband and I continue writing software in C and other languages for *nix       to this day. Nothing in your message is new to me, but thank you for posting       in the echo.              While it is true LL is not available on some *NIX systems, I couldn't find one       that doen't include it in the bash shell although there may be some shells       that do not include it. Perhaps your superior searching skills can find the       answer to that one.              Yes it is true ll is not a command, it is an alias for ls -l but essentially       it works just as any shell command. The fact that something is not an       executible does not mean it is not a command.              --- BBBS/Li6 v4.10 Toy-4        * Origin: Prism bbs (1:261/38)       SEEN-BY: 1/123 10/0 1 14/5 15/0 2 16/101 18/200 19/36 34/999 90/1       SEEN-BY: 102/401 103/705 104/57 106/201 116/18 120/302 331 123/140       SEEN-BY: 128/2 153/7715 154/10 203/0 214/22 218/0 1 215 401 410 520       SEEN-BY: 218/700 802 221/0 226/17 227/114 229/200 354 426 1014 230/150       SEEN-BY: 230/152 240/1120 5832 249/206 307 317 400 250/1 261/38 100       SEEN-BY: 261/1466 266/512 267/155 275/100 280/464 5003 5555 282/1031       SEEN-BY: 282/1056 291/1 111 292/854 310/31 317/3 320/119 219 322/757       SEEN-BY: 340/400 342/13 200 393/68 396/45 423/120 633/280 712/848       SEEN-BY: 770/1 801/161 189 2320/105 2452/250 3634/12 3828/7 5020/1042       PATH: 261/38 218/700 103/705 280/464 229/426           |
