   FWIW: deleting a message in FTN does not delete it on any other systems... FTN   
   does not have a global deletion capability like newsgroups have... once a   
   message is posted, scanned out to other systems, and transmitted, it is   
   out there in the ether until purged from those other systems' message bases...
