   Are all your commands for SIO and VMODEM correct in your CONFIG.SYS?  Do you    
   get an OK when FD loads?   What INIT string are you using?  ATZ| should be all   
   you need.   
      
   Are you trying to use FD/DOS or FD/2?  If FD/2, try FD/DOS and see if you get    
   the same error.
